Sustainable design speaks of time and place, while yearning for timelessness. The art of designing physical objects to comply with the principles of economic, social and ecological sustainability is rooted in our considerations for good design. Several of our team members have achieved the designation of LEED® Accredited Professional and the firm is currently working on several LEED® projects.

Community service is more than just a buzzword; it’s woven into the fabric of who we are. We support nonprofit organizations in the communities where we do business in a myriad of ways including board service, providing in-kind services and general volunteerism.

The Intern Development Program (IDP) helps recent college graduates learn about the many facets of the architectural profession as a requirement of sitting for the Architectural Registration Exams. We are committed to the IDP process and are active participants in the Intern Friendly Firm program with AIA Charlotte. We employ interns throughout the year and also allow high-school students to shadow our team members.

Casual Higher Understanding Group (CHUG) is a bi-weekly, in-house session that is led by our team of resident experts. Our team has an array of experiences and talents, and this is an opportunity for them to share with and help grow others on the team.

In order to continue to advance the profession and maintain our competitiveness, we must remain knowledgeable about and abreast of advances and trends in the industry. We invite industry specialists to join us for lunch and present new developments and products that may help us to better serve our clients.
