About the Role
Our office policy allows for flexibility to work remotely and strongly encourages employees to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. In the role of Architect / Construction Administrator, we’ll count on you to:
• Work collaboratively with the design team and clients on a wide range of projects including multifamily residential, commercial office, healthcare, and civic buildings
• Production and/or providing quality control oversight of construction documents, including specifications
• Review job sites during construction and facilitate OAC meetings as required
• Review submittals, RFIs, and pay applications
• Pay thorough attention to detail
• Work within budget constraints
• Be a creative problem-solver
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships during the construction phase of projects
Requirements
Degree in architecture, construction management, or another related field.
NCARB certification, CCCA, CDT, LEED AP, and/or WELL AP preferred, but not required
Working experience with Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Previous experience with construction management software (Procore, E-Builder, etc.) desired.
Organizational and time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
Experience with code research
Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions, (i.e. does not need to be micro-managed to complete tasks)
Quick self-starter
Previous commercial experience in an architecture firm is preferred
Not afraid to ask questions and a good team attitude
Creativity and problem solving, patience and resiliency
Strong communication skills
