As part of the CATS LYNX Blue Line Extension project, Neighboring Concepts completed the design of the Sugar Creek Pedestrian Bridge. This project provided a pedestrian pathway over the Norfolk Southern Freight Lines and the CATS LYNX Light Rail System, linking nearby residents with direct access to the Sugar Creek Light Rail Station, saving over 1 mile of walking distance. The perforated metal and laminated glass structure provides a safe transportation route by maintaining pedestrian visibility for security as well as weather protection.
