design their own future

Let's

Design

Together

Neighboring Concepts is a community-focused architecture firm. We incorporate public engagement in our projects, providing opportunity to members of the community to help shape, plan, and design where they live.

We're Architects
First and foremost, we're architects. Our belief in the transformative power of design drives us to create spaces that have a positive impact on communities. We are committed to sustainable principles, proudly holding LEED certification within our team and being active members of the US Green Building Council. Whether it's expansive designs or intimate spaces, handling renovations or new constructions, our experience and dedication shine through in every project. Our ultimate goal is to create better places for the community, making a lasting difference through thoughtful and innovative architectural solutions.

We're Minority Owned
We’re a minority owned architecture firm and we focus on creating innovative spaces that reflect the personality of the existing culture. We’re staffed by a strong team of differing cultures, backgrounds and ages - which sets us apart from other firms in the industry and allows us to better understand each project's true needs.

Community Engagement

Let's Design Together

We help communities be engaged in the design process. We provide open space strategies and help communities figure out what they want their neighborhood to look like.

By directly engaging and involving the people who use the spaces we design, we are able to better understand what they are looking for. Our process begins with understanding an area, whether it be a neighborhood, building, or park. We then engage community members to really understand individual needs of each person and family in that place, so that solutions can be tailored and adapted to fit their lives.
