Neighboring Concepts, in collaboration with LandDesign and Sasaki, designed the first recreation center of its kind for Mecklenburg County. Eastway Regional Recreation Center provides and connects the region to a variety of health, wellness and educational opportunities. Aided by an intensive public engagement effort, the programming for the Center’s amenities include indoor aquatics, sports courts, a fitness center, indoor track, multi-use event rooms, kitchen, arts/culture classrooms, and more.
