Situated adjacent to the Scaleybark light rail station, South Village Apartments will be one of the first affordable housing developments in Charlotte to be built within a TOD zoning on the light rail line. The development consists of 2 buildings, both of which include parking for the units on the ground floor of the buildings due to limited site space. Building 1 includes 3 levels of housing on a concrete podium while building 2 includes pull under parking below 4 levels of housing. South Village Apartments will be 81 units total including a mix of studios, 1-bed, 2-bed, 3-bed and townhome units.
