The $300 million renovation of the Spectrum Center reimagines North Carolina’s largest indoor arena as a modern destination for sports, entertainment, and modern lifestyle in Charlotte.
As the local architect, Neighboring Concepts provided interior architecture and construction administration, supporting the transformation of the venue while maintaining operations for one of the Southeast’s busiest event centers. The completed renovation enhances the fan experience through upgraded interior environments, improved circulation, and modernized hospitality spaces.
Home to the Charlotte Hornets and host to major concerts, sporting events, and cultural gatherings, the project reinforces the arena’s role as a defining civic and entertainment destination for the region.
