A Bit About

Rachel Forseen

Rachel is an Architectural Designer at Neighboring Concepts. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, along with double minors in Interior Environments and Asian Language and Literature. While at UMN, Rachel kept herself busy by being the chapter president of AIAS, volunteering with design organizations, and being a Community Advisor for three years in college dorms and apartments.

Throughout her years of education, Rachel has developed a great passion for human-centric and participatory design that emphasizes co-creating with the community. She has a strong belief in architecture being more than just a facade, but also being part of social justice and change.

In Rachel’s free time, she enjoys rock climbing, biking, trying new foods, FaceTiming with her dog in MN, and rewatching her staple TV shows.

If Rachel were not a designer, she would be a therapist.
